The pastor at Polytechnic UMC also serves as part-time Chaplain for Texas Wesleyan University. The church and campus are partners in ministry.
The Chaplain's office hosts weekly University Chapel Services in Poly UMC's chapel--Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. w/ lunch after on the 3rd Floor of Poly UMC; this floor is where the chaplain's office and Religious Department of TWU is--and a variety of other events for students.
On Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. is the MSM Bible Study. We study a variety of texts and topics, and the first Thursdays of each month we gather at a local restaurant (usually Mexicano!).
Next Spring Break, MSM will be sponsoring a service learning trip. Stay tuned for more details to come.
